The center band depicts mountain lions — the apex predator of the Southwest — rendered in motion across the cuff in the classic Hopi overlay method: two layers of sterling silver, the top layer cut and shaped by hand, then fused to the base layer and oxidized to create the dramatic dark contrast that makes the imagery leap from the surface.

Geometric border elements in the Hopi tradition frame the central scene above and below, grounding the piece in the visual language of the Colorado Plateau. The construction is substantial, the finish authoritative, the silverwork precise.
